This article from the Spring 2008 Brearley Bulletin was based on a panel in which four women spoke about topics such as identity, exploration, values and achievements. All of these things helped guide them through their careers. The idea of using their photos didn’t show what drove their individual paths. So instead, I took those values and used them graphically as part of the outer edge of a compass.
